WHO WE ARE

Established in 2011, UBC BizChina is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering cross-cultural collaboration and global business leadership. With a foundation rooted in Asian perspectives, the club serves as a platform for students to engage with topics spanning finance, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging industries.

Through strategic partnerships, professional events, and thought leadership initiatives, BizChina connects students with industry professionals and academic communities to cultivate the next generation of globally minded leaders. Our mission is to empower individuals to navigate and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic and interconnected world where business and culture advance together.

The UBC BizChina Club is student-run and not affiliated with political parties or foreign embassies. We strive to strengthen and shape Canada-China relations at the local level.

BizChina is the only Chinese student business association affiliated with the UBC Sauder School of Business. In 2018, the club was officially recognized by the Commerce Undergraduate Society (CUS) for its exceptional performance and for receiving the “Top CUS Club Award.”

We serve as a crucial piece in building international cooperation and excellence by facilitating Sino-Canadian dialogue and introducing distinguished Chinese and Canadian firms to each other's markets.

We strive to build an inclusive community by bridging the gap between Chinese and Canadian cultures and encouraging mutual support while providing career opportunities for students in both countries.
